LASO Biomedical is fostered to cater “cell therapy” a niche segment in the regenerative medicine. Cell therapy consists of stem cells derived from either adult or embryo or from induced pleuripotent stem cells. Well established stem cell therapy is hematopoietic stem cell transplantation derived from umbilical cord blood or from peripheral blood to treat lymphoma or leukemia. The stem cell research and applications are growing rapidly for treating diabetes, cardiac and certain neurodegenerative diseases making regenerative medicine more promising in the present and future.
Our primary focus is to supply stem cell isolation and storage bags and accessories for research and
applications. Our end users would be BMT, cord blood bank, laboratories involved in stem cell research and development. Freezing transfer bag sets deployed in isolation of stem cells from cord blood are assembled in Indian facility equipped with class 5 & 7 clean room assembly units certified with ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015,ISO 45001:2018, GMP and CE.
Product portfolio includes cell culture bags, tissue vaults, FEP overwrap bags, DMSO and DMSO dextran, andaccessories for storing in liquid nitrogen.
